We are looking for a confident, presentable, energetic and customer-friendly Sales & Front Desk Executive to join our home décor store.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable with customer interaction, sales and social media content creation. The candidate will assist customers at the store while also helping create engaging content for Instagram and other social media platforms.
The candidate should have basic content-creation knowledge, good camera handling skills and confidence in front of the camera. They should be able to independently shoot attractive product videos and Reels using a smartphone.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Handling
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the store.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable home décor products.
- Explain product features, pricing and other relevant details.
- Handle customer enquiries and assist in closing sales.
- Follow up with customers through phone and WhatsApp when required.
- Build positive relationships with customers and contribute towards achieving sales targets.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at the front desk.
- Assist with day-to-day retail and store operations.
- Ensure product displays and the store area remain neat, organized and visually appealing.
Social Media & Content Creation
- Create Instagram Reels, Stories, short-form videos and product content for the store.
- Shoot attractive and engaging videos of home décor products using a smartphone/camera.
- Have basic knowledge of content creation, framing, composition, lighting and camera angles.
- Be confident in handling a smartphone/camera and shooting content independently.
- Be comfortable appearing on camera and presenting products.
- Create simple product demonstrations, walkthroughs, styling videos and promotional videos.
- Keep up with relevant Instagram/Reels trends and short-form content formats.
- Assist in developing creative ideas for social media content.
- Help maintain a consistent and visually appealing social media presence for the store.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in sales, retail, customer service, fashion, lifestyle, home décor or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, presentable and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Basic content-creation knowledge is mandatory.
- Must be comfortable shooting Reels and product videos using a smartphone/camera.
- Good understanding of camera handling, framing, angles, composition and basic lighting.
- Comfortable facing the camera and presenting products on video.
- Basic knowledge of Instagram, Reels and other social media platforms.
- Creative mindset with a good eye for aesthetics and product presentation.
- Sales-oriented, proactive and enthusiastic.
- Good smartphone and basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in social media content creation or product photography/videography will be an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can become the face of the store — someone who is equally comfortable talking to customers, selling products and creating engaging social media content.
