About the Role
Delhi Dialogues is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our production team in Rajouri Garden. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling through video and capable of producing high-quality content for digital and social media platforms in a fast-paced news environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit news reports, interviews, podcasts, reels, and promotional videos.
- Create engaging video content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Add graphics, captions, transitions, sound effects, and background music where appropriate.
- Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and basic motion graphics.
- Work closely with reporters, producers, and the content team to ensure timely delivery of videos.
- Organize and manage video footage and project files efficiently.
- Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and editorial standards.
- Deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, or DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and social media specifications.
- Excellent storytelling, pacing, and visual editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience editing news and current affairs content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with YouTube content optimization and social media trends.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
