Food Quality Supervisor – Export Operations

Experience Required
5–10 years (preferred) in export-oriented food processing and packaging companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise quality control activities across procurement, processing, packaging, storage, and export dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with European Union food safety, quality, traceability, and labeling requirements.
- Implement and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems.
- Coordinate product testing through accredited laboratories and maintain complete quality records.
- Monitor cleaning, sorting, grading, packing, and handling processes.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, BRCGS, and other relevant international food safety standards.
- Handle customer audits, third-party inspections, certifications, and export quality documentation.
- Work closely with procurement and production teams to ensure export-quality raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct supplier quality assessments and raw material inspections.
- Train employees on food safety, hygiene, quality procedures, and export compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Proven experience in food processing companies exporting products to Europe and other international markets.
- Strong understanding of EU food regulations, traceability requirements, laboratory testing, and export documentation.
- Experience handling customer audits and international quality certifications.
- Ability to establish quality systems and lead quality initiatives independently.
- Strong communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
