Internship Role: Social Media Intern

Summary:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to support our marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, stays updated on digital trends, and enjoys creating engaging content that helps grow our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and schedule content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
Write engaging captions, hashtags, and short-form copy.
Design basic graphics and edit short videos using tools such as Canva or CapCut.
Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
Research industry trends, competitors, and viral content ideas.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns.
Track social media performance and prepare weekly or monthly reports.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop content calendars.
Key Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of major social media platforms and their best practices.
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or similar design and video editing tools.
Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing personal, academic, or business social media accounts.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and digital marketing.
Knowledge of photography, videography, or content creation is a plus.
