Job Opening – Designer (Foundry Tool & Core Box Design)

Position: Designer
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities:
- Design sand casting patterns and core boxes as per foundry requirements.
- Develop complete core box designs suitable for cold shooter machine applications.
- Prepare and modify tooling designs based on customer specifications.
- Ensure designs are "First Time Right" to minimize development and production issues.
- Coordinate with production, pattern shop, and foundry teams for design implementation.
- Review and optimize designs for manufacturability and casting quality.
- Maintain design records and documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of sand casting process and foundry tooling.
- Expertise in pattern and core box design.
- Understanding of cold shooter machine requirements.
- Ability to interpret customer drawings and technical specifications.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software will be preferred.
Salary:
CTC: ₹6.0 – ₹7.0 LPA (Based on Experience & Skills)
