Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Ethernet Stack Developer to join our automotive software engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, TCP/IP networking, Automotive Ethernet, and AVB (Audio Video Bridging) technologies. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing Ethernet communication stacks for next-generation automotive platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical software solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement software using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Implement, configure, and optimize TCP/IP and Ethernet stacks to meet functional and performance requirements.
- Configure and optimize Layer 2 Ethernet Switches and Ethernet stack startup.
- Validate AVB (Audio Video Bridging) software stacks in accordance with IEEE standards.
- Analyze timing requirements and optimize Ethernet communication performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Follow software development processes aligned with SAFe Agile and ASPICE.
Required Skills
- 3–11 years of hands-on experience in Embedded C++ development (knowledge of C is preferred).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols, networking concepts, and IP stack behavior.
- Experience with multi-threading and synchronization techniques.
- Hands-on experience in Automotive Ethernet.
- Knowledge of Ethernet standards:
- IEEE 802.3
- IEEE 802.3ab
- IEEE 802.1AS (AVB)
- Experience configuring and validating AVB software stacks.
- Experience using network analysis and debugging tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Experience working with Linux and QNX operating systems.
- Familiarity with design and architecture tools such as Enterprise Architect (EA).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with expertise in TCP/IP communication.
- Knowledge of SAFe Agile and ASPICE development methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Automotive Embedded Software development.
- Knowledge of Ethernet communication architecture and networking performance optimization.
- Experience with embedded software design and system architecture.
