Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor construction activities including concrete works, earthworks, structural works, finishing works, and infrastructure works.
- Coordinate material testing (soil, concrete, steel, asphalt, etc.) with third-party laboratories.
- Review and approve material submittals, mix designs, and technical documents.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of inspections, test reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions.
- Identify non-conforming works and ensure corrective and preventive measures are implemented.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site engineers regarding quality-related matters.
- Conduct internal audits and quality inspections to maintain compliance with ISO standards (if applicable).
- Ensure all materials delivered to site meet approved specifications and standards.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain quality tracking logs.
- Support project handover documentation and final quality dossiers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications (ASTM, BS, ACI, ISO, etc.).
- Experience in infrastructure, building, road, or industrial projects (as applicable).
- Certification in QA/QC or ISO 9001 (preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office and construction documentation software.
- Strong understanding of testing procedures for concrete, soil, asphalt, and steel.
