JOB DESCRIPTION
The external reporting function handles the oversight of the financial statements and management reporting, ensuring a sound control environment; understands and applies the accounting treatments and ensures compliance with appropriate corporate and regulatory requirements; coordinates the preparation of quarterly regulatory requirements; validates balance sheet items and understands balance sheet usage and reporting.
Job Summary
As an Analyst within the Financial Reporting team, you will play a critical role in the external reporting function, overseeing financial statements and management reporting to ensure a robust control environment. You will apply current product, industry, and market knowledge to specialty areas of reporting, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities include consolidating, reviewing, and analyzing quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness, performing variance analytics, and coordinating data collection with various business lines and reporting teams.
