Social Media Manager – Job Description
The Social Media Manager develops and executes social media strategies to increase brand visibility, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, and others.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content (text, images, video, stories, reels, etc.)
- Manage and grow social media accounts across multiple platforms
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and emerging platforms to keep content relevant
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions
- Analyze performance metrics using tools (e.g., insights, analytics dashboards)
- Run paid social campaigns and optimize for ROI
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams
- Maintain brand voice and consistency across all channels
- Handle social media crises or negative feedback professionally
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts (brand or agency)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic design and content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools)
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics)
- Creativity and ability to think strategically
- Time management and multitasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience with social media advertising and campaign management
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
