Job Summary
The ERP Assistant supports the implementation, maintenance, and daily operation of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role involves data management, user support, report generation, troubleshooting, and coordination with different departments to ensure accurate and efficient use of ERP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update ERP master data and transactional records.
- Perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly ERP reports.
- Provide first-level support to ERP users and resolve basic system issues.
- Coordinate with departments such as Finance, HR, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Production for ERP-related requirements.
- Assist in ERP implementation, testing, upgrades, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and training documentation.
- Conduct user training and provide guidance on ERP processes.
- Monitor data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with ERP vendors or consultants for issue resolution and system enhancements.
- Ensure proper documentation of ERP processes, changes, and configurations.
- Support user account management, access control, and data security compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in ERP support, ERP operations, MIS, or data management.
- Freshers with strong computer skills may also apply.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or Tally ERP is preferred.
