Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with strong AutoCAD experience to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing designs, supporting project planning, and assisting with engineering documentation while working independently and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD
- Design and analyze civil engineering projects such as roads, buildings, drainage systems, and infrastructure
- Review project requirements, specifications, and technical documents
- Coordinate remotely with architects, contractors, and project teams
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and regulations
- Provide revisions and updates based on feedback
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in AutoCAD (2D/3D drafting and design)
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional design software (e.g., STAAD, Revit, or similar)
- Prior experience working in remote or freelance projects
- Strong communication and time management skills
Experience:
- 1–5 years (or as required) in civil engineering and AutoCAD-based design
