We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-house marketing team and help bring our brand stories to life through compelling visual content.
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Video Editor to create high-quality content for our digital platforms, advertising campaigns, and brand communications.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, have a strong understanding of sound design and editing, and possess basic Canva skills for creating thumbnails and simple creatives. You will work closely with the marketing, scriptwriting, and production teams to produce engaging content that aligns with the Vann Essentials brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, advertisements, and other digital platforms.
- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content optimized for different social media platforms.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, animations, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
- Edit and enhance audio, including sound balancing, music selection, noise reduction, and sound effects.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop compelling visual stories.
- Create basic thumbnails, post creatives, and social media assets using Canva.
- Organize, manage, and maintain video assets and project files efficiently.
- Ensure all videos are delivered within deadlines while maintaining high creative and technical standards.
- Stay updated with the latest editing styles, visual trends, and social media content formats.
- Assist during shoots by providing creative input on framing, transitions, and post-production requirements when needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of video editing, pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Experience with audio editing, sound balancing, and incorporating music and sound effects.
- Basic Canva skills for creating thumbnails and simple social media creatives.
- Good understanding of content formats for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Skills
- Experience editing content for brands, digital marketing campaigns, or social media.
- Understanding of colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Familiarity with current social media trends and viral content formats.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
