Job Description:
We are hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic English Language Trainer to deliver spoken English training to students, professionals, and job seekers. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language and be passionate about improving learners' communication, grammar, and confidence in both personal and professional settings.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroom and/or online training sessions focused on spoken English, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Train students in:
- Speaking fluently with proper pronunciation and intonation
- Listening comprehension
- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Group discussions and interviews
- Grammar correction and vocabulary building
- Design lesson plans, activities, and worksheets based on learner levels (Beginner to Advanced).
- Use real-life scenarios, role-plays, and interactive techniques to improve learner engagement.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide feedback and improvement plans.
- Conduct mock interviews, speaking drills, and group communication activities.
- Prepare students for real-world communication challenges in academic, business, or immigration environments.
- Maintain attendance, progress records, and batch performance.
- Customize sessions for specific needs like corporate English, academic English, travel English, or IELTS/OET foundation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Linguistics, or any related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in teaching spoken English or communication skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a student-friendly approach.
- Ability to motivate, guide, and support learners of different age groups and backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or English language training (optional but preferred).
- Experience in training for IELTS, OET, or PTE foundation courses.
- Prior experience in online teaching platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, or LMS tools.
- Fluency in regional language (like Tamil) is a plus for local learners.
