Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Tester based in Coimbatore. The Software Tester will be responsible for executing and managing test cases to ensure the software quality meets industry standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing various software testing methodologies, analyzing results, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to refine products. The role also involves implementing quality assurance practices to maintain and enhance software reliability.
The applicant should have software development knowledge as well. Experience in writing production-level code or automation frameworks. Familiarity with backend systems, APIs, and microservices architecture. Ability to read, debug, and analyze application code.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Software Tester who can handle both Manual and Automation Testing with confidence, both on desktop and mobile phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and API applications
- Build and maintain automation frameworks
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
- Ensure overall product quality and release readiness
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Manual Testing & Automation Testing
- Hands-on with automation tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
- Experience in API testing (Postman / Rest Assured)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java / Python / JavaScript)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments
Software Development Knowledge (Must-Have)
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience in writing production-level code or automation frameworks
- Familiarity with backend systems, APIs, and microservices architecture
- Ability to read, debug, and analyze application code
- Experience working with version control systems (Git)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of design patterns and coding best practices
Good to Have
- Experience in Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
