Role Overview
The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the manufacturing process to ensure that production targets are achieved efficiently, cost-effectively, and with the highest quality standards. The role involves supervising production teams, optimizing processes, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational policies.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet output targets.
Prepare production schedules based on demand forecasts and order requirements.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Process Management
Implement efficient production processes to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely availability of raw materials.
Quality Control
Ensure production meets the required quality standards and specifications.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain product consistency.
Monitor defect rates and implement corrective measures.
Team Management
Supervise and lead production staff and shift supervisors.
Allocate tasks and ensure discipline and productivity on the production floor.
Provide training and guidance to production team members.
Cost & Resource Management
Monitor production costs and ensure cost-effective manufacturing.
Optimize resource utilization including labor, machines, and raw materials.
Track and reduce production losses and wastage.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to workplace safety policies and operational guidelines.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Implement health and safety practices across the production facility.
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
Coordinate with maintenance, quality, procurement, and logistics teams.
Report operational updates and challenges to senior management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
