We are looking for a responsible and trained OT Staff / Operation Theatre Technician to assist in the smooth functioning of the operation theatre. The candidate will be responsible for preparing the OT before surgeries, maintaining cleanliness and sterilization, assisting doctors and nurses during procedures, and ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are ready and functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries and ensure all equipment is available and in working condition.
- Sterilize surgical instruments, OT tables, and equipment as per hospital protocols.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff during surgical procedures.
- Arrange and hand over surgical instruments during operations as required.
- Ensure proper cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in the OT area.
- Check oxygen supply, suction machines, monitors, lights, and other OT equipment before procedures.
- Shift patients safely to and from the operation theatre.
- Maintain records of OT supplies, surgical instruments, and equipment usage.
- Dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital guidelines.
- Support emergency surgeries and be available as per duty schedule.
- Inform senior staff immediately about any equipment malfunction or shortage of surgical items.
- Follow hospital safety rules, patient care standards, and confidentiality policies.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
