Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join a leading manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing engineering drawings, assembly layouts, and fabrication designs while ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and BricsCAD.
- Develop assembly and fabrication drawings as per design requirements.
- Create sheet metal drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for drawing modifications and updates.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and specifications.
- Support design activities related to plant machinery and equipment.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision records.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and assembly processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BricsCAD.
- Experience in Plant Machinery design.
- Knowledge of Assembly Design.
- Experience in Fabrication Design.
- Understanding of Sheet Metal Design.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and standards.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in EOT Crane Design will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in drafting and design.
- Good understanding of manufacturing drawings and engineering standards.
