Tool Installation Engineer Job Summary
Major roles and responsibilities;
Lead the design, construction, Technical bidding, contract, quality, safety level and hand-over for tool install projects.
Lead internal services for tool installations, such as safety programs, information technology services, chemical authorizations, security programs and operations services.
Create design drawings and lead infrastructure facility reviews (point of connection of pipe, electricity, exhaust, specialty gas, chemical supply equipment, etc.)
Assist in startup of gas systems and process equipment to reach process qualification on new process modules
Manage outsourced PMC team/OSP performing multiple projects in the labs.
Coordinate tool and process module forecasts from the Lab service team with Facilities projects and schedules
Coordinate specialty gas needs to support customer demonstrations.
Drive cost reduction on projects through competitive bidding, negotiations, and contracts management
Maintain and report repeatable KPI’s for budgets and schedules, as well as tool cost indicators such as per foot, per line and per module
Manage the Facilities Safety Program for construction projects in labs.
Align and report weekly with the Lab service team members.
Sub roles (coordinator):
Infrastructure facilities review (point of connection of pipe, electricity, exhaust, specialty gas, chemical supply equipment, etc.)
Creating the design drawings.
Lead the TBM (Toolbox Meeting) meetings.
Lead the SIPP, operation, ITP review, and ETS meetings.
Urgent response to requests from PG and LSE.
Qualifications:
BE in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical engineering with Minimum 5 Years experience in Installation and commissioning of Capital equipment’s & preferably 1~3 years in semiconductor/Pharma industry.

Experience with semiconductor tools, Machine tool or similar industry tools
Experience in selection of components, setting up equipment for experimentation / testing in a clean room laboratory environment, setting up safe practices
Advanced troubleshooting skills in the areas of specialty gas/chemical systems use in semiconductor processes (Etch, Deposition, Clean and Metrology); setting up equipment for experimentation / testing in a clean room laboratory environment, setting up safe practices.
Knowledge of using CAD softwares( Creo/NX3/ Solid Edge/Autocad)
