Design & Concept Development
- Create innovative and commercially viable fashion designs based on market trends and customer requirements.
- Develop new concepts, collections, styles, prints, patterns, and color combinations.
- Prepare mood boards, design concepts, sketches, and design presentations.
- Research current and upcoming fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes.
Product Development
- Develop designs from the initial concept through to the final product.
- Prepare technical specifications, design sheets, and measurement details.
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, accessories, and embellishments.
- Work closely with sampling and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
Coordination
- Coordinate with production, sourcing, merchandising, and quality teams.
- Communicate design requirements clearly to vendors, tailors, and production teams.
- Review samples and provide feedback for necessary modifications.
- Ensure the final product matches the approved design and quality expectations.
Market & Trend Research
- Monitor fashion trends and competitor products.
- Identify new design opportunities based on customer preferences and market demand.
- Suggest new product ideas and design improvements.
Quality & Final Approval
- Review prototypes and samples.
- Ensure correct fit, finishing, color, fabric, and overall appearance.
- Make necessary design changes before final production.
- Maintain consistency across collections and product lines.
