We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Counselor who can provide expert guidance to students while driving admissions growth and developing strong university relationships.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a mature, accomplished, and student-focused professional with extensive experience in international education counseling and admissions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in international student counseling and admissions.
- Minimum age: 35 years.
- Must have worked with an international education consultancy, university, pathway provider, or as a university representative.
- Strong experience in admissions, student recruitment, counseling, sales, and business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to counsel students and parents for Bachelor's, Master's, Foundation, Pathway, and Pre-Master's programs.
- Proven track record of achieving admission and enrollment targets.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates will be given strong preference if they:
- Have completed their Bachelor's or Master's degree abroad, preferably from the USA, UK, Europe, or Australia.
- Are alumni of a Top 50 globally ranked university (QS, Times Higher Education, or equivalent rankings).
- Have firsthand knowledge of international university systems, application processes, visas, scholarships, and student life.
- Have existing relationships with universities or recruitment partners.
- They must have 2 reference from previous Jobs
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding international higher education opportunities.
- Recommend suitable universities and programs based on academic background, career goals, and financial considerations.
- Guide students throughout the complete admissions journey, including:
- University selection
- Application strategy
- Documentation
- Statement of Purpose (SOP) guidance
- Scholarships
- Offer acceptance
- Visa process
- Build strong relationships with prospective students, parents, schools, and university partners.
- Represent EduTechEx Global during seminars, education fairs, school visits, webinars, and university events.
- Mentor junior counselors and contribute to improving counseling quality.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve enrollment objectives.
- Stay updated with admission requirements, immigration policies, scholarships, and global education trends.
- Maintain CRM records and ensure timely follow-up with prospective students.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
