Job description:
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Target manufacturing plants, infrastructure projects, commercial buildings, EPC contractors, and utilities,Steel Plant PWD,CPWD,MES etc
- B2B Networking: Build relationships with electrical consultants, architects, contractors, and builders to get products pre-approved in project specifications.
- Technical Presentation: Demonstrate product benefits, system designs, and safety standards directly to technical heads and project managers.
- Proposal Formulation: Coordinate with the in-house design and estimation team to prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOQs) and techno-commercial proposals.
- Order Closure: Handle price negotiations, finalize commercial terms, and track the pipeline from enquiry to order fulfillment.
Required Skill Set & Qualifications
- Technical Background: A Diploma in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred to understand panel schematics and customer requirements.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep familiarity with LV switchgears, busbar sizing, circuit breakers (ACB/MCCB), and internal components.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong skills in project costing, profit-margin calculation , and standard credit terms.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills to manage long B2B sales cycles. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
