Job Title: Classroom/Subject Teacher (EnglishSubstitute teacher)
Reports To: Principal / Head of Department
Job Summary
The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instructional lessons that support students’ academic, social, and emotional development in alignment with the school curriculum and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and observations
- Maintain accurate student records and grades
- Manage classroom behavior to create a positive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs
Qualifications
- Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
