About Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable cloud-native applications. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to build microservices, optimize system performance, and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java 8–based backend applications with deep focus on concurrency, streams, and legacy code handling

Build and enhance microservices using Java EE / Jakarta EE (CDI, JAX-RS, JPA/Hibernate, JSF, Bean Validation)

Develop and manage cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and GCR
-
Work on big data and distributed systems, including Kafka (producer/consumer, streaming) and Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, HBase, Hive on Spark)

Perform complex analytical queries and data processing using BigQuery and SQL
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of systems
Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8), including generics, concurrency, streams, and legacy systems

Hands-on experience with Java EE / Jakarta EE stack and exposure to Spring Framework (Spring Security with OAuth2, Spring Batch, Spring JDBC)

Advanced proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery (must-have)

Experience with Kafka and Hadoop ecosystem for building distributed data solutions

Strong database skills in SQL (analytical queries), MongoDB (NoSQL), and Elasticsearch

Exposure to Scala, Akka actors, Apache Spark, and Quarkus framework

Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL
