- Oversee daily body and paint workshop activities.
- Ensure vehicles are repaired and delivered on schedule.
- Monitor workflow, bay utilization, and repair capacity.
- Optimize productivity and efficiency of the department.
2. Team Management
- Lead and supervise body shop advisors, estimators, technicians, painters, and support staff.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Conduct training and skill development programs.
- Maintain discipline and teamwork within the department.
3. Revenue and Profitability
- Achieve monthly revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor labor sales, paint sales, and spare parts revenue.
- Control costs and minimize wastage of paint and materials.
- Improve departmental profitability.
4. Insurance and Surveyor Coordination
- Develop relationships with insurance companies and surveyors.
- Ensure timely claim approvals and settlements.
- Resolve insurance-related disputes and delays.
- Monitor claim processing efficiency.
5. Quality Control
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.
- Monitor rework and repeat repair cases.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct final quality checks before vehicle delivery.
6. Customer Satisfaction
- Handle customer escalations and complaints.
- Ensure transparent communication regarding repair status.
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
7. Inventory and Resource Management
- Coordinate with spare parts and paint suppliers.
- Ensure availability of repair materials and equipment.
- Monitor tool maintenance and workshop infrastructure.
8. Safety and Compliance
- Enforce workshop safety standards.
- Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor proper handling of paints, chemicals, and waste materials.
