The Supplier Ecosystem Specialist supports GP’s managed learning programs as the primary point of contact for key suppliers, ensuring strong communication, high service quality, and alignment to business needs. By managing and optimizing interactions with our supply base, this role will help strengthen partnerships, monitors performance, resolves issues, and supports contracting and operational coordination to ensure suppliers are positioned to deliver effectively and efficiently in support of GP’s goals.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Sourcing & Collaboration
- Analyze market trends and potential suppliers to determine where gaps exist
- Research potential supply partners to support our existing business needs as well as to support future requirements
Contribute insights to supplier strategy development, including landscape assessments and recommendations on supplier mix.
Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving supplier utilization, workflows, or systems.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Working alongside other leaders within the supplier strategy team, develop and launch a supplier scorecard process
Track supplier performance using key metrics (e.g., quality, responsiveness, cost, delivery) and recommend actions to elevate results.
Partner with internal teams to assess supplier effectiveness in supporting managed learning programs and identify optimization opportunities.
Resolve supplier issues promptly, escalating risks and working cross ‑ functionally to implement long ‑ term fixes.
Collaborate with vendor specialists, legal, and learning consultants to support supplier onboarding, contracting, and negotiations.
Ensure suppliers meet compliance, service-level agreements, and all relevant business requirements.
Coordinate supplier involvement in program launches, updates, and ongoing delivery needs.
Monitor supplier capacity and readiness to ensure timely support for learning initiatives.
Support cost-management efforts through identification of efficiencies, consolidation opportunities, and optimized supplier usage.
Build trust-based, collaborative supplier relationships.
Demonstrate strong ownership and follow-through on issues.
Balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and improvements.
Support GP’s culture of partnership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Experience in supplier management, procurement, or partner relationship roles.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple partners in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with experience using data to evaluate performance and drive decision-making.
