Job Summary
The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and processing client and contractor bills, ensuring accurate quantity measurements, BOQ compliance, and timely documentation. The role requires close coordination with project teams to maintain cost control and support smooth financial execution of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit RA Bills, client bills, subcontractor bills, and final bills.
- Verify quantities as per approved drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
- Prepare measurement sheets (MB) and maintain billing documentation.
- Review and certify contractor and vendor bills before processing.
- Perform quantity reconciliation and material reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Accounts, and Clients for bill approvals.
- Prepare rate analysis for extra and non-BOQ items.
- Maintain billing records, payment tracking, and project cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and company procedures.
- Assist in claim preparation, variation orders, and final account settlement.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–6 years of experience in billing and quantity surveying for building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, RA Billing, Quantity Surveying, Rate Analysis, and Material Reconciliation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP/Billing Software.
- Good understanding of construction drawings, contracts, and billing procedures.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
