Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, along with a working knowledge of Java Spring Boot applications and deployment workflows. The candidate will work closely with development and QA teams to build, deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available applications. Experience with React.js and Next.js is considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, servers, containers, and application environments.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain multiple applications across environments.
- Configure and manage web servers, reverse proxies, and application servers.
- Monitor application performance, logs, and system health, and proactively resolve issues.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build, release, and deployment processes.
- Manage source control workflows and deployment automation using Git.
- Ensure infrastructure security, scalability, reliability, and high availability.
- Document infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to web application deployment workflows involving React.js and Next.js (preferred but not mandatory).
Requirements:
Must Have
- A Bachelor's degree or a Master’s degree in related technical discipline.
- 0 - 3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related role (Freshers with strong hands-on project experience are encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CircleCI for build, deployment, and release automation.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker and containerization technologies.
- Basic working knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Working knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Experience deploying and managing applications.
- Experience configuring and managing web servers such as Nginx or Apache.
- Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, logging, and application performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Good to Have:
- Experience deploying and managing React.js and Next.js applications.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools).
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
