Job Title: Tender ManagerPosition Summary
The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the complete tendering process from identification of opportunities through submission, follow-up, award, and project handover. The role requires strong leadership, integrity, confidentiality, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in handling government and private sector tenders.
Key ResponsibilitiesTender Management
- Manage the entire tender process from initiation to completion.
- Identify and track new tender opportunities on a daily basis through government portals, emails, newspapers, industry publications, and other sources.
- Evaluate tender requirements and coordinate with internal departments for timely submission.
- Prepare, review, and submit tender documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with tender conditions.
- Monitor tender status and conduct regular follow-ups with clients and authorities until finalization.
- Maintain tender records, documentation, and submission databases.
Business Development Support
- Regularly inform Management (MD & Directors) about new business opportunities and upcoming tenders.
- Analyze competitors and market trends relevant to the company's business activities.
- Provide strategic inputs for improving tender success rates.
- Maintain updated knowledge of government procurement policies, tender regulations, and industry practices.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with Government Officials, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), Clients, Consultants, and other stakeholders regarding tender-related matters.
- Coordinate with department heads to collect technical, commercial, legal, and financial information required for tender submissions.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and government authorities.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, guide, and motivate the tendering team.
- Ensure effective task allocation and timely completion of tender-related activities.
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and professional conduct within the department.
- Work closely with Heads of Departments to ensure smooth coordination.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company information, pricing, and tender strategies.
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and loyalty toward the organization and Management.
- Be humble, cooperative, and professional in interactions with colleagues, clients, and officials.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in tender management, preferably in government and infrastructure-related projects.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end tendering processes.
Required Skills
- Thorough knowledge of tender documentation, bid preparation, and submission procedures.
- Strong understanding of government procurement systems and tender regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good computer proficiency, including MS Office, email communication, document management, and online tender portals.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in Kannada and English (Mandatory).
- Knowledge of Tamil and Hindi will be preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a valid driving license.
- Ability to drive both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, tender submissions, and client interactions as required.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
