Candidates with experience in the following will be given preference:
- ROMAC structural steel estimating and pricing
- US structural steel material takeoffs
- AISC steel sections and nomenclature
- Reading structural contract drawing sets
- Material quantity takeoffs from PDF drawings
- Steel member identification
- Fabrication drawings (preferred)
- Miscellaneous steel estimating
- Stair and railing takeoffs (preferred)
- Bolt and anchor bolt quantity estimation
- Base plates, gusset plates, and connection material takeoffs
- Ability to understand RFIs, ASIs, Addenda, and drawing revisions
- Preparing accurate Excel takeoff reports for US fabricators and contractors
Primary Deliverables
For every structural steel member, the estimator must accurately identify and record:
- Section size (W, HSS, C, MC, L, Pipe, Plate, etc.)
- Member quantity
- Individual member length
- Total linear length
- Contract drawing reference number
- Grid location (where applicable)
- Floor/Level reference
- Drawing revision reference (if applicable)
- Remarks/Notes for special conditions
The estimator must ensure all Estimation & takeoffs are complete, accurate, and organized according to the clients
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
