- Create new designs for products, components, or systems
- Convert concepts into detailed engineering designs
- Modify existing designs to improve performance
2. CAD Modeling & Drafting
- Use software like:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- CATIA
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models
- Prepare technical drawings for manufacturing
3. Analysis & Testing
- Perform simulations and calculations (stress, load, thermal, etc.)
- Ensure design meets safety and performance standards
- Work on prototype testing and validation
4. Material Selection
- Choose suitable materials based on strength, cost, and application
- Ensure durability and efficiency of the design
5. Collaboration
- Work with production, quality, and project teams
- Coordinate with clients or stakeholders for requirements
- Support manufacturing during product development
6. Problem Solving
- Identify design issues and provide solutions
- Improve product functionality and reduce cost
7. Documentation
- Prepare design reports, specifications, and manuals
- Maintain revision history and technical records
8. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure designs follow industry standards and regulations
- Maintain safety and quality guidelines

Qualification
