Job Summary
The TGT Sanskrit Teacher is responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students of Classes VI to X. The teacher will develop students' language proficiency, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, and appreciation of Sanskrit literature while creating an engaging and disciplined learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sanskrit to students of Classes VI to X in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare annual, monthly, and daily lesson plans.
- Deliver engaging and interactive classroom instruction using appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Teach Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, translation, and literature.
- Encourage correct pronunciation and conversational Sanskrit wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular assessments, class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate answer sheets and maintain students' academic records and progress reports.
- Foster students' interest in Sanskrit language, culture, and literature.
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, and teaching-learning materials.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher meetings, examinations, and co-curricular activities.
- Support school events, language competitions, cultural programmes, and other academic initiatives.
- Stay updated with curriculum changes and adopt innovative teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with Sanskrit as a major/elective subject or an equivalent qualification.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification, if required by school or board regulations.
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong command of Sanskrit language, grammar, and literature.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate students and make language learning engaging.
- Proficiency in preparing lesson plans, assessments, and academic records.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Working Hours
As per school timings and academic requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
