Senior Engineer – HVAC

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to join our MEP Projects team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in estimation, BOQ preparation, project planning, scheduling, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and Fire Fighting systems.
Key Responsibilities Estimation
- Review GFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs.
- Raise material requests and identify quantity variations.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery.
- Prepare variation sheets and support project costing.
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare project schedules using MS Project (MSP) or Primavera P6.
- Develop manpower planning, resource loading, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Commissioning & Testing
- Prepare commissioning procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate testing and project handover activities.
- Compile commissioning reports and submit client documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Fire Fighting systems.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, and material planning.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with MS Project (MSP) or Primavera P6.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in MEP project estimation, planning, or execution.
- Self-motivated with strong project coordination skills.
- Project Management certification/training is an added advantage.
