Role Description The Assistant Manager – SEO will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and traffic for Gurully’s digital platforms. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ahmedabad and involves managing day-to-day SEO activities such as conducting technical and content audits, performing keyword research, and implementing on-page and off-page optimization. The role includes overseeing link-building initiatives, monitoring website performance using analytics tools, and preparing regular reports on rankings, traffic, and key SEO metrics. The Assistant Manager – SEO will collaborate closely with content, product, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website architecture, content planning, and campaign execution. The person in this role will also stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to continuously refine and improve SEO performance.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in core SEO practices, including SEO audits and on-page optimization.
- Hands-on experience with keyword research, search intent analysis, and keyword mapping.
- Practical knowledge of link-building strategies, outreach, and off-page optimization.
- Ability to work with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, other SEO platforms) to track and interpret performance data.
- Understanding of digital and online marketing principles, including how SEO supports broader marketing goals.
- Familiarity with HTML, basic technical SEO concepts (site speed, mobile friendliness, indexing, sitemaps, redirects), and CMS platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role, preferably within ed-tech or a fast-paced digital environment, is an advantage.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
