Job Summary
We are looking for an analytical, execution-focused, and client-oriented Business Finance & MIS Consultant who can work closely with business owners to improve business performance.
The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding complete business operations, identifying financial and operational gaps, implementing practical business solutions, developing MIS and dashboards, strengthening internal controls, supporting ERP implementation, and driving continuous business improvement across multiple client assignments.
The role requires a combination of finance expertise, business consulting, operational understanding, internal audit knowledge, and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Finance & FP&A
- Prepare monthly MIS and management reports.
- Analyze financial statements and business performance.
- Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Perform Budget vs Actual and Variance Analysis.
- Monitor profitability, contribution margins, and cost structures.
- Analyze working capital, cash flow, and liquidity.
- Support strategic financial planning and business decisions.
- Prepare business performance presentations for management.
2. MIS, Dashboards & Business Analytics
- Design and automate MIS reports.
- Develop KPI dashboards using Advanced Excel.
- Prepare Traffic Light (RAG) Reports.
- Analyze operational and financial KPIs.
- Prepare business trend analysis and performance reports.
- Present actionable insights to business owners.
- Monitor departmental performance against targets.
3. Business Consulting & Process Improvement
- Understand client business models and operations.
- Conduct Business Gap Analysis.
- Identify operational bottlenecks.
- Recommend practical business improvement initiatives.
- Improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Assist clients in implementing business improvement projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Internal Audit & Risk Management
- Conduct operational and financial internal audits.
- Review internal financial controls.
- Evaluate business risks and control weaknesses.
- Perform process audits across departments.
- Review compliance with SOPs and policies.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support fraud risk assessment and control enhancement.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
5. ERP & Business Systems
- Participate in ERP implementation projects.
- Understand client workflows and business processes.
- Prepare process maps.
- Coordinate with ERP implementation teams.
- Support testing and user acceptance.
- Improve system utilization.
- Ensure ERP aligns with business processes.
6. SOP Development & Process Standardization
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Review existing business processes.
- Standardize workflows.
- Document policies and procedures.
- Improve internal control mechanisms.
- Ensure process compliance across departments.
7. Client Consulting & Stakeholder Management
- Manage multiple client engagements.
- Conduct client meetings.
- Understand business challenges.
- Present financial and operational insights.
- Build long-term client relationships.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver consulting assignments within timelines.
8. Business Performance Monitoring
- Develop business scorecards.
- Monitor KPIs across departments.
- Track implementation of action plans.
- Measure productivity and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare monthly performance review reports.
- Support management in strategic decision-making.
