Cupron Electric is an Electrical Turnkey Contracting company executing industrial electrical projects. We are looking for a Purchase Engineer – Electrical responsible for procurement of electrical materials required for industrial projects.
The candidate should have experience in sourcing, vendor development, and procurement of electrical items used in industrial installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement of electrical materials for industrial turnkey projects.
- Handling RFQs, vendor quotations, price comparison, and negotiation.
- Preparing comparative statements (CS) and placing purchase orders.
- Coordination with project and site teams for material requirements.
- Follow-up with vendors for timely material delivery.
- Vendor development and maintaining supplier database.
- Ensuring procurement as per project BOQ and technical specifications.
- Maintaining purchase records, documentation, and reports.
- Coordination with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering
Experience Required
- 2 – 5 Years Experience
- Experience in electrical material procurement for industrial projects preferred
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical materials used in industrial projects
- Vendor negotiation and procurement management
- Preparation of price comparison statements
- Knowledge of BOQ and technical specifications
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel
Preferred Experience
Procurement of materials such as:
- Electrical cables and cable trays
- HT/LT panels (MCC / PCC / DB)
- Transformers and switchgear
- Earthing materials
- Industrial lighting fixtures
Salary
