We are looking for an energetic, data-driven, and persuasive Inside Sales professional to join our fast-growing business development team.
Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth by managing the entire virtual sales pipeline. Operating primarily from our central office, you will handle hot inbound leads, conduct targeted outbound prospecting, and consult with potential clients to curate and sell premium travel packages.
This role does not require field travel; instead, it demands exceptional digital communication, sharp closing skills, and the ability to build trust and urgency entirely over the phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Conversion & Consultation: Actively consult with inbound prospects to understand their travel desires, budgets, and preferences. Design, pitch, and modify itineraries to close sales and hit monthly booking quotas.
- Outbound Pipeline Generation: Conduct targeted cold/warm outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to corporate clients, affinity groups, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) to build a B2B and B2C sales pipeline.
- Lead Qualification: Rapidly qualify inbound inquiries from our website, social media, and digital marketing campaigns to ensure high-velocity sales routing.
- CRM Management: Maintain flawless, real-time records of all interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline stages within our CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Virtual Pitching & Presenting: Conduct highly engaging virtual presentations and itinerary walkthroughs using video conferencing tools to securely close high-value accounts.
- Upselling & Cross-selling: Maximize the yield per booking by strategically upselling premium accommodations, travel insurance, customized excursions, and transport upgrades.
- Cross-Functional Handoff: Work hand-in-hand with the Travel Operations and Itinerary Design teams to ensure seamless execution of sold packages and flawless client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–2years of proven experience in Inside Sales, Telesales, Account Management, or Business Development—ideally within the travel, hospitality, SaaS, or high-value e-commerce sectors.
- Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must possess an authoritative yet empathetic phone presence and write compelling, error-free sales emails.
- Sales DNA: A naturally target-driven, resilient individual with a proven track record of handling objections, creating urgency, and closing deals remotely.
- Tech Savviness: High proficiency using CRM systems, cloud telephony, professional email suites, and video conferencing software (Zoom/MS Teams). Familiarity with travel global distribution systems (GDS) or booking engines is a plus.
- Active Listening: The ability to decipher unstated customer needs and map them to the perfect travel product.
