Work Location | Ahmedabad

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Project Manager who specializes in the preparation of BOQ's and has a thorough knowledge of specifications. The role will require preparation of BOQ's, rate analysis, writing specifications, reviewing BoQs and estimate, collaboration with design team and conduct value engineering exercises.

Responsibilities:

Prepare BoQ (Bill of quantities) includes all project items descriptions, preambles, pricing of items, rate analysis, material consumption, detail specification in required format.
Identify and quantify cost factors, such as materials, and labor expenses, etc.
Collaborate with Engineers and Architects.
Conduct Value Engineering exercises.
Recommend revisions to specification documents.
Consult vendors, brands, manufacturers to analyze market rates and product specifications as per the design intent.

Education:

Mandatory: B.E. Civil or M.E. Civil.

Experience:

Years: 5 to 7 years.
Industry: Architecture or Construction Management

Skills (Mandatory):

Knowledge of prevailing market rate and alternate material.
In-depth knowledge and experience in quantity calculation work (method of measurements).
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel.
Good communication skill with proficiency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati language.
Thorough knowledge of DSR's, SOR's and standard codes.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Skills (Preferred):

Knowledge of ArchiCAD to extract the quantity and understand the design.
