About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Consultant) who can take ownership of our application architecture, identify system gaps, and drive long-term technical improvements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, system integration, and production troubleshooting.
This role is focused on identifying the root cause of recurring technical issues, eliminating architectural bottlenecks, improving system reliability, and ensuring scalable and secure technology solutions. You will work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, QA, Product, and Business teams to ensure stable and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing applications and identify architectural gaps, performance bottlenecks, and scalability challenges.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical production incidents and recommend permanent architectural solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-availability enterprise application architectures.
- Review current systems and recommend modernization, optimization, and performance improvements.
- Prepare and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Define technology stacks, integration patterns, deployment strategies, and cloud architecture.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, Database, and Security teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Review application architecture, technical designs, and code to ensure compliance with architectural standards.
- Establish architecture governance, best practices, and technical standards across projects.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that improve system stability and business outcomes.
- Participate in production releases and provide architectural support during critical deployments.
- Mentor engineering teams and guide them in building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring production issues and enhance application performance.
Required Skills
- 8–15 years of experience in Software Development, Technical Architecture, or Solution Architecture.
- Strong expertise in enterprise application architecture and modern design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience in troubleshooting production issues, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementing permanent fixes.
- Strong understanding of application performance tuning, scalability, and system reliability.
- Experience with API Gateways, Load Balancers, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure architecture principles.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor technical teams and lead architectural decision-making.

- TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent certifications are an added advantage.
