About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Playwright (Mandatory) and should be capable of designing robust automation frameworks, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright (Mandatory).
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand business requirements and define test strategies.
- Review product requirements and identify automation opportunities.
- Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Perform API automation and validation for backend services.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
- Continuously improve test coverage, framework stability, and execution efficiency.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
Mandatory Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of web application testing.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or automation libraries.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Good knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized test execution.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Performance or security testing experience is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead automation initiatives.

Mandatory Requirement

Pay: ₹724,400.38 - ₹1,301,929.15 per year
