· Perform diagnosis and repair of PCB assemblies at component level using schematics, circuit diagrams, and test procedures.
· Use electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, LCR meters, and power supplies to isolate faults.
· Identify and replace defective active and passive components (ICs, transistors, diodes, capacitors, resistors, etc.).
· Perform SMD and through-hole rework, including micro-soldering and re-balling if required.
· Conduct functional testing of repaired boards to verify performance and ensure quality compliance.
· Maintain proper ESD safety practices during handling and repair of sensitive electronic components.
· Document repair findings, root causes, and corrective actions in the repair log or service management system.
· Collaborate with design, production, and QA teams to provide feedback for recurring issues or design improvements.
· Maintain inventory of repair tools, instruments, and spare components.
· Train and support junior technicians/engineers in repair and troubleshooting methods.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Proficiency in circuit tracing, signal analysis, and schematic interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with BGA/SMD rework and precision soldering.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, power supplies, communication interfaces (UART, SPI, RS232, etc.).
- Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools and test jigs.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet repair turnaround timelines.
- Experience in BGA rework, hot-air reflow, microscope-assisted soldering & manual soldering.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,920.36 per month
