ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Virtual Operations Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee and guide accounting, financial finalisation, tax compliance, client deliverables, project compliance, quality control, daily productivity, and team operations across our international client portfolio.
This is a senior-level leadership role suited for either someone with a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or a qualified Association of Chartered Certified Accountants /Chartered Accountant professionalwith 7+ years of experience, strong practical knowledge of UK accounting and compliance, and proven experience in managing, mentoring, training, and directing finance/accounting teams.
The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently at a senior manager level, reviewing and finalising financial work, identifying compliance requirements, maintaining quality standards, monitoring project compliance and daily team productivity, guiding team members, conducting training, and ensuring that all client deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
This is not an Individual Contributor (IC) role. The position is focused primarily on team management, review, project quality control, deliverable scope and timeline management, operational oversight, team bandwidth overview, training, and leadership, rather than handling execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- : Oversee UK Accounts, HMRC/tax compliance, Payroll, VAT, and Companies House compliance and filings, ensuring all statutory and regulatory deadlines are met.
- : Oversee team liaison with US CPA counterparts for Filings, ensuring review of filing accuracy and timely completion.
- : Review and finalise accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders across multiple geographies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements.
- Review financial statements and supporting schedules, identify issues, and ensure appropriate corrections are made before finalisation.
- Ensure all project compliance, statutory deadlines, and client deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide technical guidance and review support to the finance and accounts team.
- Lead, guide, and supervise internal team.
- Overview on task allocation, review of deliverables, and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to team members.
- Monitor team performance, quality, productivity, and compliance with internal SOPs.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex accounting and compliance matters.
- Identify errors, process gaps, and areas for improvement and ensure corrective action.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of UK tax and compliance, including HMRC requirements.
- Experience with US accounting and tax compliance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong technology proficiency, including Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and similar accounting and productivity software.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly technology-driven and digitally managed environment.
- Ability to independently review and finalise accounts & guide team on client consulting requirements.
- Excellent accounting, financial review, and quality-control skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, mentoring, and team-direction capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Working Hours: 4 hours daily, Monday–Friday
Timing Window: Between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM
Monthly Commitment: Approximately 80 hours
Salary Range: ₹25,000 -₹30,000/ monthly, based on experience and interview
