Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Costing/Estimation Engineer – Electrical with strong analytical capabilities and expertise in Microsoft Power BI and Advanced Microsoft Excel to support tender preparation, cost estimation, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit competitive bids for electrical projects
- Analyze tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Perform detailed cost estimation and rate analysis
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations
- Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Perform data analysis using advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, lookups)
- Track tender status and maintain bid documentation
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines
Requirements
- B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in tendering/estimation for electrical projects
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and project costing
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and Advanced Excel
- Ability to interpret technical and commercial documents
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Candidate with Industrial projects experience is preferrable.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industries or large-scale tenders
- Knowledge of relevant IS codes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with ERP or tender management systems
