Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Plant Head / General Manager who can take complete responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning of a manufacturing plant. The person will be responsible for managing Production, Quality, Casting and CCR operations, while ensuring that production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, good leadership skills and hands-on experience in managing teams and plant operations in the metal or casting industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall plant operations and ensure production targets are achieved on time.
Lead and coordinate Production, Quality, Casting and CCR departments.
Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials and other resources.
Monitor casting processes and ensure proper control of production parameters.
Maintain consistent product quality and reduce rejection and wastage.
Identify production problems and take timely corrective and preventive actions.
Work on improving productivity, process efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and other departments to avoid production delays.
Ensure that all plant activities follow required safety and quality standards.
Guide, motivate and develop production and quality teams.
Track important plant KPIs such as production, rejection, downtime, productivity and quality.
Prepare regular plant performance reports and share updates with the CEO/MD.
Take quick and effective decisions during production or operational issues.
Skills Required

Good practical knowledge of metal manufacturing and casting processes.
Understanding of production planning and plant operations.
Knowledge of CCR operations and process control.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage multiple departments and large teams.
Good knowledge of quality control and manufacturing systems.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve production deadlines.
Result-oriented approach with a focus on productivity and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Candidates with strong experience in metal, casting or manufacturing industries and previous exposure to plant-level management will be preferred.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling Production, Quality, Casting and CCR operations and working closely with senior management to achieve overall plant objectives.
Compensation
₹15 – ₹20 LPA, depending on experience, skills and suitability for the role.
