We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 5 years of core hands-on experience in building robust data pipelines, integration workflows, and modernizing data architectures.
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes while participating in a key modernization initiative—migrating existing legacy data pipelines from Talend to Apache Kafka and monitoring systems from Splunk to Grafana.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in traditional data warehousing and cloud-native ETL tools, alongside a strong appetite for continuous learning and adapting to modern streaming technologies.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Skills required:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.
- ETL Tools: Strong proficiency with at least one major ETL tool: Talend (Highly Preferred), IBM DataStage, or Teradata.
- Cloud Integration: Proven hands-on experience developing pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Streaming Platform: Mid-level, working knowledge of Apache Kafka (architecture, producers/consumers, topics, data streaming).
- Databases & SQL: Strong proficiency in SQL with deep experience in database querying, index management, and query optimization across any major RDBMS/Cloud DB (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata).
- Data Warehousing (DWH): Strong understanding of standard DWH concepts, enterprise data architecture, ETL scheduling, CDC (Change Data Capture), and data modeling.
Key Competencies
- Prior exposure to Splunk for log querying, system alerting, and monitoring.
- Learning Agility: Openness and willingness to quickly learn Java (for backend/Kafka integrations) and Grafana (for custom observability dashboards)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
