Medical Lab Technician – Job Description
Position: Medical Lab Technician (Experienced)Location: Nacharam, HyderabadExperience: Experienced candidates preferredSalary: ₹12,000–₹20,000 per month, based on experience and skills
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and properly handle blood, urine, and other clinical samples.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and slides as required.
- Ensure accurate testing, documentation, and timely reporting of results.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.
- Maintain proper records of samples and test reports.
- Perform quality-control checks and report any abnormal equipment/test results.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
Requirements
- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital laboratory preferred.
- Good knowledge of routine pathology and laboratory procedures.
- Ability to handle samples carefully and maintain accuracy.
- Good communication and professional attitude.
- Candidates who can work independently are preferred.
