Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT Staff Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures, maintain a sterile environment, prepare operation theatres, and ensure high standards of patient care before, during, and after surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the operation theatre for scheduled surgeries.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterilized and readily available.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
- Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
- Handle and account for surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing care.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, surgeons, and support departments for smooth OT operations.
Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Knowledge of OT procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and emergency duties.
- Experience in multi-specialty OT will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
