We are looking for a proactive and creative Reddit Marketing Executive to join our Digital Marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for building authentic engagement across relevant Reddit communities, increasing brand visibility, generating organic traffic, and supporting overall digital marketing objectives.
Job Summary
The Reddit Marketing Executive will plan and execute Reddit marketing activities, identify relevant communities, create engaging content, participate in discussions, monitor trends, and analyse campaign performance.
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Reddit Marketing or Community Marketing, excellent written communication skills, and a strong understanding of Reddit communities and user behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant subreddits based on the company's products, services, and target audience.
- Create engaging, informative, and community-focused Reddit posts and comments.
- Participate in relevant subreddit discussions and provide meaningful contributions.
- Understand and follow Reddit's platform policies and individual subreddit rules.
- Build and maintain a positive brand presence within relevant Reddit communities.
- Monitor Reddit trends, discussions, keywords, competitors, and industry conversations.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and organic website traffic.
- Develop and implement Reddit marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Respond to comments, questions, and discussions professionally and helpfully.
- Analyse Reddit post performance, engagement, upvotes, comments, referral traffic, and conversions.
- Conduct competitor research to identify successful Reddit marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with content writers, SEO specialists, and other digital marketing team members.
- Maintain Reddit content calendars and campaign activity reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly Reddit marketing performance reports.
- Experiment with different content topics and approaches to improve engagement and results.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Reddit Marketing, Community Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or Digital Marketing.
- Strong understanding of Reddit, subreddits, karma, posts, comments, and community behaviour.
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Ability to create natural, engaging, and informative content.
- Understanding of organic marketing and content marketing.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and online reputation management.
- Strong research and competitor-analysis skills.
- Ability to analyse marketing performance and engagement metrics.
- Good knowledge of Google Sheets/Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing Reddit accounts for a company, agency, or brand.
- Experience working with international audiences.
- Knowledge of SaaS, technology, e-commerce, or B2B marketing.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics/GA4.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms.
- Experience generating website traffic or leads through Reddit.
- Knowledge of social listening and online community-monitoring tools.

The candidate's performance will be evaluated based on:
- Quality and relevance of Reddit posts and comments.
- Organic engagement generated.
- Upvotes, comments, and meaningful discussions.
- Growth in relevant community participation.
- Referral traffic generated from Reddit.
- Leads and conversions generated, where applicable.
- Quality of subreddit and competitor research.
- Compliance with Reddit and subreddit guidelines.
- Consistency of Reddit activity.
- Monthly campaign performance and reporting.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical experience in Reddit Marketing or Community Marketing may also be considered.
