As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the intended requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and driving progress to deliver high-quality software tailored to organizational needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the integration of new features and enhancements to ensure seamless functionality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals with organizational objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Experience in customizing and configuring ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management processes and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation within the ServiceNow environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in application design and implementation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
- This position is based at our INDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
