Job Title Territory Sales Executive – Pharmaceutical Distribution
Reporting To Sales Manager / Managing Partner
Territory Assigned districts (e.g. Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Idukki or Thiruvananthapuram)
Key Responsibilities Develop business from retail pharmacies, hospitals, clinics and institutions within the assigned territory.
Generate regular orders and achieve monthly collection targets.
Identify and onboard new hospitals, institutions, pharmacies and sub-stockists.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and increase share of business.
Promote schemes, new launches and key brands from company principals.
Follow approved credit policies and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Monitor competitor pricing, products and market activities.
Visit customers as per the approved beat plan and submit daily visit reports.
Coordinate with warehouse, billing and logistics teams for smooth order execution.
Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Monthly cash collections. Secondary sales generated. New active pharmacies/hospitals/institutions onboarded. Collection efficiency. Overdue receivables within approved limits. Customer retention. Product mix and principal-wise growth.
Qualifications Graduate preferred. 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution, OTC/FMCG distribution, wholesale trade or medical sales. Valid two-wheeler driving licence. Familiarity with the assigned territory. Skills Sales negotiation. Relationship management. Collection management. Territory planning. Communication and reporting. Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
