We are looking for a dynamic "Customer Service Engineer/ Manager". Who will be a technical professional responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)/ Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal system performance by diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and providing technical support to clients while adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.
Additionally, he/She can work as a key person (POC) between client and our company and handle 10-15 sites. Should be focused on KPIs that measure quality, customer engagement & customer satisfaction which can help reduce customer churn rate.
Key responsibilities:
- On-site service: Visiting customer locations to perform inspections, guide teams to repairs, and preventative maintenance on STP equipment like pumps, aeration systems(Blowers), clarifiers, Sludge dewatering machines(Batch centrifuge, screw press etc) and filtration units.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical/ process issues with STP systems through analysis of operational data, system diagnostics, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Preventative maintenance: Conducting routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of STP equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Customer interaction: Interacting with clients to understand their needs, explain technical details, address concerns, and provide training to on site teams on proper operation of STP systems.
- Compliance checks: Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations related to wastewater treatment operations.
- Reporting and documentation:Maintaining accurate records of service calls, maintenance activities, parts used, and customer interactions through detailed reports.
- Technical expertise:Having a deep understanding of STP processes, equipment functionality, and relevant engineering principles.
- Collaboration:Working with other technical teams within the company to resolve complex issues and provide support on project implementations.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field (could be Civil)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of different types of STP systems.
- Presentable & having good communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment stages.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and operating manuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and technical teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting- technical and data driven mindset
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
